But did you know that Star Jasmine has a very special place in the world’s history and culture? It is said that in ancient China, aristocratic women perfumed their hair with jasmine flowers to capture the attention of their suitors. Today, jasmine remains a symbol of beauty and love in many Asian cultures.
Symbolic and useful
In the language of flowers, Star jasmine is often associated with purity, grace and eternal love. It is frequently used to create flower arrangements and bridal bouquets for weddings, to symbolize romance and fidelity. But that’s not all. Star Jasmine has medicinal powers too!
In traditional Chinese medicine, its flowers are used to soothe the nervous system, relieve stress and promote restful sleep.
