Acacia Covenyi
Presentation
A uniquely beautiful member of the big Mimosa family
Despite their Australian origins, mimosa trees, with their delicate appearance and vibrant flowers, often evoke the sunny landscapes and lush gardens of Provence. Among this fascinating botanical family, the Mimosa Acacia Covenyi features unique characteristics and adds a gorgeous touch of exoticism and splendour to our four-star campsite Les Jardins de La Pascalinette ® in the Var area, French Riviera-Côte d’Azur.
Also referred to as Blue Bush Mimosa or Blue Leaved Wattle, Mimosa Acacia Covenyi is graced with distinctive silvery blue-green leaves that strike up a magnificent contrast with its radiant yellow flowers when it is in bloom.
An exotic touch
Acacia Covenyi occupies a special place in the mimosa family due to its distinctive characteristics. Unlike other mimosa species, which often display thinner leaves and more traditional shades of green, the silvery blue-green foliage of the Acacia Covenyi lends it an exotic and alluring appearance.
In addition to its aesthetic beauty, this variety plays an important role in the ecosystems in which it grows, providing food and shelter for a variety of birds and insects and hence contributing to the biodiversity and ecological balance of our eco-friendly nature campsite.
