Keen to discover the Var area’s most beautiful beaches?
Shhh! Keep it to yourself…
Discover the magnificent Plage du Rayol – we guarantee you’ll love it!
Do you dream of a white sandy beach lapped by crystal-clear waters just a stone’s throw from your seaside campsite Les Jardins de La Pascalinette®? Look no more! Head straight to Plage du Rayol in Le Rayol-Canadel, where wild and protected scenery is just waiting to enchant you!
The beach is accessible on foot, at the end of a monumental staircase classified as a listed monument a few years back. Take time to drink in the stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea and Golden Islands!
Separated in half by a rock, the beach comprises two areas, one private and one public. The public beach benefits from a lifeguard so you can enjoy bathing in all safety.
A quiet, intimate and privileged spot
If you’re not keen on the hustle and bustle of the larger family beaches, Plage du Rayol is simply made for you! Even at the height of summer, it remains fairly quiet, so you’ll always find a space to lay down your towel on its wonderful sparkly sand! A bearer of the European Blue Flag for many years, the beach guarantees cleanliness and a preserved environment.
Follow the D559 road to access the beach from Le Lavandou. You’ll find a free car park on the left near the beach, as well as a few spaces along the road.
And as the great outdoors is bound to make you peckish, remember to book your table at the campsite restaurant du camping to wind up the day in style!
