If you’re holidaying at our four-star campsite Les Jardins de La Pascalinette ® in La Londe-les-Maures and would like to visit the rest of the Var area, simply hop on the tourist trains available in 9 towns around the campsite to discover the local sights. Climb aboard for a voyage into the history of Saint-Raphaël, Le Lavandou and Toulon!
La Londe-les-Maures tourist train
Just like our beautiful nature campsite set between sea and country, the La Londe-les-Maures tourist train (“petit train touristique” in French) whisks you away on a discovery voyage across beaches and vines, unveiling the vast diversity of scenery you’ll find in our pretty town.
Hop on at Port Miramar (opposite the tourist office) for a relaxing, 45-minute meander topped with plenty of anecdotes on the history of the town and its agricultural and industrial past. A guaranteed delight for every age and taste!

N.B. A PRM ramp can be installed on one of the carriages. Please book 48 hours ahead.
And just like at Les Jardins de La Pascalinette ® four-star campsite, pets are welcome free of charge.
Le Lavandou has a tourist train too!
Discover the Cité des Dauphins with this extraordinary tour winding its way across the famous seaside resort’s 12 beaches (no less).
The “Petit train du Lavandou” winds its way along the ancient Train des Pignes railway line and promises truly magnificent views over beaches, coves and the splendid Îles d’Or bay! The 50-minute ride crosses Fossette, Pramousquier and Cavalière beaches and their neighbours – in fact, you’ll come across several locations featured in our Nos Coins de Paradis® (Our Corners of Paradise)!
The tour starts from Quai Gabriel Péri, facing the tourist office.
Toulon, Grimaud, Ramatuelle, Sainte-Maxime…
If you have trouble getting around or simply don’t want to walk for too long, the local tourist trains are a very pleasant and easy way to discover many of the Var area’s local towns without any effort.
Visit the medieval castle of Grimaud and the waterside town of Port-Grimaud, tour the Gulf of Saint-Tropez lined with the towns of Ramatuelle, Gassin and Sainte-Maxime and discover the naval base and Mourillon beaches in Toulon…
